Mr. Lacy, the husband of the founder of My Time Has Come, is a skilled psychotherapist with nearly 30 years of experience as an administrator and supervisor of human service programs. He has effectively provided counseling for individual, families, and groups; and provides staff and program development consultations to agencies and organizations.

In addition to his human services professional background, Mr. Lacy is an accomplished singer, song writer and acoustical guitarist who offers culturally enriching concerts and is often called upon to perform at church and organizational functions. 

He facilitates My Time Has Come effectively addressing emotional and personal development issues through its program.

About James Lacy, Singer/Guitarist:
James Lacy as a singer, guitarist and song writer has composed several songs including the My Time Has Come theme song (link on Home page to hear the chorus of this song).  He has performed several benefit concerts at venues such as the Hofstra University Student Center Theater, Freeport Yacht Club and Union Baptist Church in Hempstead New York.  These concerts have been fund raisers for organizations such as Operation Get Ahead, Inc., Union Baptist Church Building Fund, Uniondale Early Childhood Center and Nassau Suffolk Chapter of the National Association of Black Social Workers. He has performed on programs at numerous churches and at special events such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday celebration programs, Kwanzaa programs, Town of Hempstead African American History Month Program and political campaign fund raising events.  He has been called upon to sing at weddings, funerals, memorials and private parties. During speaking engagements he often provides a unique twist by incorporating the performance of relevant songs into his presentation.
