Engaged in creating one-of-a-kind elegant, versatile and functional fashions and accessories for men and women, as well as unique hand-crafted fabrics for home fashions and wall art.
Activities include creating original textile/fashion designs, wearable art, wall art, home fashions and marketing.

Presents art related multi-cultural and educational programs which foster appreciation, sensitivity, sense of self and tolerance to racial, cultural, ethnic and generational issues.

Successfully incorporated art and design skills in teaching major subjects.
Taught Graphic Arts Technology to 8th and 9th grade students.
Taught Fashion Illustration and Design to adults.

Classroom presentations and workshops covering design concepts, execution and use of authentic African textiles and providing students with a hands-on experience in creating African inspired textile designs on fabric.

Conducted Teacher training workshops addressing the incorporation of African textile and surface designing in their curriculums.

Organization Consultation

Art related motivational workshop for young adults at a juvenile detention center, and cultural workshops for children and adults at libraries and museums.

Numerous presentations on textiles and fashions at Nassau County libraries.

Numerous contemporary and African inspired wearable art fashion shows and exhibits at Nassau County libraries and organizational fund raising events.
